Meeting up in Watkins Glen with the rest of the "Crawlers".

Our stay in Warren PA is too brief.  This is home of the Kinzua Dam,  one of the largest dams in the United States east of the Mississippi River.  It is located within the Allegheny National Forest.   The dam created Pennsylvania's deepest lake, the Allegheny Reservoir, also known as Kinzua Lake.  Thanks to Wikipedia for the citations.

But we move off toward Watkins Glen, NY, through more of the Allegheny National Forest and the softness of the pine forests, sliding east north easterly into the lower part of New York state, toward Corning, NY and into the Finger Lakes area.

The day started out sorting minor issues with Charlie Miller's car, which was overheating yesterday.  Reg and Bruce to the rescue.

Cars sleeping peacefully in the early morning.  Slight rain over night.

New York has a unique method for urging cell phone texters to pull over do make their texts.

We arrived in Watkins Glen about 3:30 and after checking in to the Seneca Lodge everyone set about cleaning up the cars and meeting the others who have gathered from all over the south east.  Most are former "Crawlers" but we have a few new participants as well.  Charlie Miller, the tour creator distributed the jackets, t-shirts and hats with Pub Crawl logos.

The internet was down due to storms in the area so this blog post being posted late and somewhat abbreviated. The internet connection I have this morning is slow and hyphenated.  More later.
